We invite you to join us at StarGate, a curated desert festival experience with music, performances, workshops and art projects in the high desert of Northern Arizona, about 45 min northeast of Flagstaff.

This is an intimate gathering on private property limited to 333 tickets and 155 vehicle passes. Please carpool and prepare to bring everything you need to thrive for three days and nights in a desert environment.

Please invite friends you would like to share the weekend with, but refrain from posting this event on public forums. This is a private event, but friends of friends are welcome!

10% of ticket sales from the StarGate Weekend passes will be donated to the future Hozhó Iiná Community Trauma Center

StarGate ReUnion
Sept 20-22, 2019
Gateway Ranch, Northern Arizona

Directions and a Welcome Packet will be emailed to ticket holders within a week of the event. The location is about 45 minutes NE of Flagstaff with the last leg of the journey on a well-graded dirt road.

StarGate will grant entry starting on Friday, Sept 20 at noon. Tickets are limited and will likely sell out, so get yours early. Programming will end on Sunday night, Sept 22, but people are welcome to stay the night and head out on Monday, Sept 23. The Gate will physically close at midnight every night, so please plan accordingly and try to arrive before dark if you haven’t been to Gateway Ranch before.

The intention of this gathering is to build stronger connections with our Arizona community and beyond.  

Friday evening is focused on grounding in, connecting participants for the weekend and experiencing a variety of live music and performances. Friday night, the music will end at 2am, allowing everyone to rest and recharge for a full day of projects, workshops and activities on Saturday that will carry into musical selections through sunrise on Sunday. Please share in the magic of sunrise with us – whether you prefer to get some sleep and wake up early or dance through the night to greet the new day. Sunday is an opportunity to decompress and recharge before heading home on Monday.

GIFTING
We invite you to share your talents, skills or gifts with the community. Be creative in your expression and playful in your participation. It is a true gift to others when we allow ourselves to be seen. Feel free to present your self-sustaining projects, performances, and art, your smile, your bagels, your extra pair of socks, your leopard-print onesie, or anything that makes someone happy.

TUNING IN
This event is about tuning in, not tuning out. We ask our participants to practice informed thoughtful choices and self-care. We do not tolerate aggressive behavior, recklessness or the disregard for personal boundaries or consent. Please take care of each other, check in or step in if needed and practice respect for all participants, hosts and the land.

Our host is Gateway Ranch, a space dedicated to exploration, transformation, creation, and celebration. The Gateway community has collectively contributed to the development of their mission of cultivating creative community and ongoing projects for over 25 years. We are honored to be stewards of this land and to share this weekend with you.

This is a private gathering for our community with limited capacity. Please invite friends and the people you would like to share the weekend with, but we ask that you are fully responsible for who you invite into our communal space. We would love your help to spread the word, but ask that you avoid posting this event in public forums.

Attendees much be at least 21 years old unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Children under 15 years old are free for entry. At this time, there is no specific programming for children, but if you’d like to organize something, please do! 

We cannot allow any furry friends on the property unless they are a certified service animal. Please be respectful of our host by leaving your pets at home.

Please carpool with at least one other person to reduce our impact on the land. Every vehicle must purchase a vehicle pass.

Practice self-reliance and equip yourself with adequate food, water, and shelter to thrive in a potentially harsh desert environment. Prepare for high winds, hot sun and cold nights.

Be aware of your impact and be sure to not only leave no trace, but leave it better. Pack it in and pack it out, including your trash and gear (even if it breaks).

  • Reusable plates, cups, utensils
  • Cash (small bills) for food and ice (Saturday delivery)
  • Gas camping stove. No charcoal or open flame.
  • Yoga Mat
  • Journal – for workshops, etc
  • Headlamps / lighting, extra batteries
  • Warm layers and a jacket for cool nights
  • Leave town with a full tank of gas
  • Follow the directions closely, DO NOT USE GPS
  • Directions and a Welcome Packet will be sent via email closer to the event
  • Cell phone service can be spotty and time can jump by an hour between Arizona and the Reservation

You must have a vehicle pass to park your car or camp next to it. There are only 155 vehicle passes due to limited space and to lessen our impact on the land (specifically, the bushes). Please carpool!

Tent camping is encouraged. Please bring shade, stakes and rain protection. There will be an area for parking that is separate from camping, but everything will be close by.

There is no separate fee for camping 🙂
